Back from Connecticut

Well, I'm back from my business trip to Connecticut.  It was very beautiful there, and I even got to see snow for the first time in three years, so that was a wonderful treat!  I am sorry that I haven't updated "The Alchemist" in awhile.  I was so busy with business while I was away that I got absolutely nothing extra-curricular done.  It was very frustrating.

I guess I will give you all a little something to entertain you in the meantime.  My husband got the most recent Foo Fighters album for Christmas,and there is this one song on there that I just love ("Home")!  Of course I am sure that it is partially due to the fact that it reminds me of Severus (sigh... will the obsession never end...?).

My day for posting videos

Well, this seems to be my day for posting videos here, doesn't it.  I found this on YouTube and just couldn't help myself.  I'm not big on fan videos but this girl has her editing down pat and her videos are very well done (plus I love Joaquin Phoenix and the movie "Quills", even if Mr. Phoenix is a bit too lovely to play Severus).  She has disabled embedding, so I guess I will just have to link you.  The video is "The Phoenix Lament".  Also worth checking out while you are at her page is "Call Me When You're Sober".  Oh, what the hell, I'll put a link to it here too.  Hope you enjoy!
