Trip to the San Antonio Missions - Concepcion

I have lived in San Antonio, TX for five years now, and have never been to see the historical missions here (the famous Alamo, is only one of a series of missions built by the Franciscans here in San Antonio).  Yesterday my husband finally took me to see all of them, so I am going to post a series of pics we took at the missions yesterday :-).

Wow! It's beautiful! I could SO imagine living there... once I've installed central air. I don't like heat and humidity.... :(

Everyone here has central air. People literally die without it. You hear about it in the poorer areas in the hottest part of the summer, elderly people dying from the heat because they don't have any air-conditioning. They give away box fans for free here at local churches during the summer months to prevent this.
