The Alchemist - Chapter 50

 Well, here we are at chapter 50!  We are about 1/3 of the way through now.  I really want to thank all of you who are taking this journey with me.  You don't know how much it means to me to hear all your feedback and thoughts on this story, the characters and the human drama we are all experiencing together.  This story has come to mean so much to me.  These characters are infinitely precious to me, and I feel so blessed to have met so many wonderful people along the way.  So thank-you.

This is a short chapter, but it made me cry to write it.  I hope you enjoy.

Precious Malfoys

I love Makani over at DeviantArt she draws the most precious Malfoys.

"Your wand, Lucius. I require your wand."
"I..."
Malfoy glanced sideways at his wife. She was staring straight ahead, quite as pale as he was, her long blonde hair hanging down her back, but beneath the table her slim fingers closed briefly on his wrist. At her touch, Malfoy put his hand into his robes, withdrew a wand, and passed it along to Voldemort, who held it up in front of his red eyes, examining it closely.

Another favorite Makani Malfoy Moment!

"Lightning" by Makani.  I just bet this could have happened!!  Like any family, even the most messed up ones, there are little moments of sweetness.  Sorry, I'm a little in love with my most broken and damaged characters right now.  I must admit that my view of the Malfoys is a little influenced by this dear girl.  She made me see the human side of them, especially Lucius.
